It’s symbolic relationship: Universities and research consortia get access to proven technologies, methodologies and experienced engineers while the industries get access to research work done. But in a world where universities and academia area facing a steady decline of public funding, it becomes the responsibility of every company big or small to help wherever possible. Every engineer has the social responsibility to help in the betterment of science.
